Years ago, I took an Alaskan cruise on Holland America. Upon boarding the Ryndam, a Holland America employee chatted me up. I soon discovered that she served as the ship’s Activity Director.
She explained a game they played aboard ship: Find Mr. and Mrs. Ryndam. The game’s purpose was to inspire passengers to get to know each other. I was chosen to be Mr. Ryndam. The first passenger to guess my identity won some cool prizes. The game proved to be a fun way to meet people.
At IEG 2017, I will spin this game a bit. Here are the rules:
1. Find me.
2. Ask me, “would you show me your socks?” I’ll oblige.
